Aerobic Workshop

Intro logoThe Aerobic Workshop is suitable for physical education teachers that have either attended the ‘Learn to Teach’ Aerobics course (formally Fitkidz Introductory Aerobics) or for staff that have experience ‘teaching’ aerobics in the curriculum.

The course will provide teachers with choreography that will motivate and inspire pupils to exercise. The moves are broken down into simple steps that can be adapted for the special needs child, or, progressed for the gifted and talented.

The course is largely practical based with some theory and includes:

  • Choreography
  • Routines for each component of an aerobics class
  • Session notes
  • Non-doer worksheets
  • Analysis of performance material

MapCardiokidz is ‘a fitness support service for schools’. We aim to provide courses for teachers so that aerobics can be taught confidently and safely in schools with the hope that pupils will continue exercising at post 16.

Cardiokidz has delivered courses to over twenty regions in the Midlands and North Of England. In 2005 we plan to extend our courses to the south of England and to schools in Scotland.
